SBASCH is an independent charity formed in 1979 which raises funds in a variety of ways to provide support and equipment for adults and children with communication difficulties.

Just imagine – not being able to talk?  Understand others?  Make choices?  Express ourselves?

Being able to communicate is something that we all can take for granted and it is really devastating for a person who cannot do so, as well as for their family and friends. Sometimes, a person can be born with such difficulties, sometimes a person can have an accident or illness in life which takes away or limits that power.  And power it is too – just think how we might feel if we could no longer choose, chat, or shout out!
SBASCH works to support adults and children in communicating in a variety of alternative methods.
